His People Christian Church Kimberley

One of the greatest previledges in our lives was the oppertunity given by God to plant and pastor the His People Chruch in Kimberley. We had great joy, fun and special moments as well as tears and painful moments. This experience we would not want to exchange for anything. We are so thankful to God and the people who He has sent our way during that time.

In 2018 our family went through a crises and we decided to take a short sabatical to deal with the crisis and to prioritse family. Later we realised that it would take a much longer time to deal with the issues we were facing and we made the dicsion to step down as pastors and which sadly led to the church closings its doors.

With a tremendous buring of God’s calling in our hearts and various prophetic confirmations, we know that this is not the end of our ministry, but we enjoy the work and restoration that the Lord is currenly doing in our individual lives and in our family. This time of our “indefinite sabatical” has been of great significance and joy to us.

We are so grateful to God for the great friends He has given us for their support and to whom we could make ourselves accountable to. We are not in a hurry to rush the work that the Lord is doing in our family but desire to see God’s complete and perfect work in our lives.

We know that the best is yet to come and trust that we will be even of greater blessing to you, to God’s people and to all who will experience our love and ministry in the future.

Thank you so much for your interest in His People Christian Church Kimberley. We love having visitors and feel free to come to any of our Discipleship Churches or worship Celebrations whenever you are able.

His People Church in Kimberley is a discipleship based church that exist of multiple small churches that currently meets in different homes with regular joint gatherings called Celebrations.

Sunday Celebrations

Through our Celebration Services we seek to honour and worship God and presenting relevant and powerful messages to provide many with life changing encounters with God’s love, goodness and grace. Though our Discipleship Based Churches we seek to provide loving missional communities that will infiltrate homes, working places and places of entertainment with the practical love and Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are so excited about the new season God has placed us in and we are trusting Him for greater things. We trust that we will see you soon. Dear Friends

I have no fancy or impressive words for you for 2016.

Instead of the old cliché of wishing you a Happy New year, I want to wish you Jesus for 2016. His glorious presence. Intimacy beyond compare. The meaningfulness and fulfilment that comes from walking intimately with Him.

The joy of making Him smile, of pleasing Him. Rediscovering heaven’s greatest Treasure. Adventures with Him and being Him in 2016.

Happy Jesus encounters in 2016.

 

JESUS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON

Christmas time is usually the time we focus on the birth of Jesus. We revisit stories of what happen more then 2000 years ago in the little town of Bethlehem and we sing songs about that holy night when our Lord was born. Very little do we focus on His death and resurrection at Christmas time. The reality is that Jesus was born to be the Saviour of the world. At His birth He was destined to die so that we can be born-again. Jesus is our Saviour from the very beginning. As we celebrate His “birthday”, let us also celebrate Him as Saviour.

God wants to use you greatly!

We believe that God wants to bless you to be a blessing in 2014. God wants to use you greatly to establish His kingdom in the lives of people. You can expect great things from a good God. God has been setting you up for great victory and breakthrough this year.

Over the last few years we have started to see God doing mighty miracles in our midst, especially in the area of divine healing. The Lord has been calling us to press in for even greater mighty works.

We know that God wants to use you in a way that you have not even dreamt possible. God is absolutely good and He wants us to demonstrate His goodness to the world around us. So join us this year as we set of to expose people to the love, power and goodness of our Lord Jesus.

Furious Love Miracle Meeting

We are so excited about our Furious Love Miracle meeting. God has been has proven Himself as faithful and we have witness many healing miracles in the past. We know that He is, always was and forever will be our Healer. This time we trusting God for more than just healing. We want to see healing in marriages, finances and whatever your need might be. We are confident that people will experience an encounter with the love, grace and mercy of God. So why don’t you join us for this wonderful event?

Pastors Maxwell & Cheryl Jansen

“Let your kingdom come, let your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

Maxwell Jansen was radically transformed when he received Jesus as Lord in Saviour on October 1989. He immediately sense God’s call upon His life. In November 1989 he received the in filling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in an unknown language. In December 1989 he experience his first healing miracle after he woken up one night with a severe stomach-ache.

From 1990 up until June 1997 served in the His People Christian Church in Cape Town in the ministry of helps, as soul-winning co-ordinator, as small group leader, as area leader, and altar call co-ordinator. In the early 1990’s Maxwell Jansen was part of a group who saw God moving in a mighty way among the students of the University of the Western Cape. They witness great manifestations of the Holy Spirit and an influx of young people who received Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Many of those young people serves God in ministry to this day.

In 1998, he moved to Kimberley working for the Department of Land Affairs. That same year he met Cheryl Walker and they got married in July 2000. In 2003 they were ordained as the pastors that would pioneer the new church plant in Kimberley.

They have a desire to see God’s kingdom come, God’s will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

They long to see people equip to do the work of Jesus in three areas. (1) To do the ministry of Jesus concerning making disciples. (2) To live morally pure and doing good deeds and (3) doing the work of Jesus what healing, signs, wonders and miracles are concerned. Over the last few years they have seen a steady increase of especially healing miracles and the prophetic gifts.
